Our story

We have over 30 years of hotel experience between us and have spent the last 8 years living and working in Normandy with our own bed and breakfast. Pete is a chef trained in five-star hotels in London making his way up to head chef and being involved in the opening of a few hotels and restaurants. We are passionate about our local food and our home. Over the years we have informally taught friends and customers cooking lessons and have decided in 2018 to reach out to more people and start “farnhouse cooking experience”(cooking classes

When traveling through Normandy this is a must stop location. Peter and Su are exception hosts and will make you feel welcome. The cooking classes are so much fun learning new recipes and tasting the local foods. Peter and Su are masters at their craft.

New five day cooking course

The day will start with breakfast at 8am then followed usually with shopping and kitchen preparation in the morning. In the afternoon ,after sharing the lunch we have prepared altogether, you will have some free time with suggested food related sites to visit if you wish or you can just relax and do your own thing. At 5pm it's back in the kitchen for more preparation until 7pm giving just enough time to freshen up before dinner Aperitifs start at 8pm with an amuse bouche we have prepared altogether. I will ask 1 or 2 people to help with the service each night so you all get to see how service works . We will have four courses every night All meals including drinks are provided for the 5 days Contact us for more details!
